Dear Mom and Dad,
I hope this letter finds you in the best of health and spirits. I spoke to the lawyer and he told me that my situation is not easy. The appeal will probably not be accepted. Using Comic Sans to make an advertising campaign is a serious offence. Despite the situation, I'm finding ways to keep myself occupied and focused on the positive aspects of my situation. That’s me, as you know.
On a lighter note, you won't believe the things I've been learning! Laundry has become a a funny thing. Thanks to my cellmate, I learnt all sorts of tips to wash clothes effectively. Now everyone ask me how to clean their stubborn stains.
Who would have thought?
One thing that's been keeping me creatively engaged is spending time drawing patterns on the walls.
It's my way of adding a touch of color to my surroundings. I find solace in expressing myself through art, you know.
I have to admit, though, that there's one thing
I'm missing quite a bit – Netflix! It's funny how the little things we take for granted become so important when they're not accessible. I find myself daydreaming about binge-watching our favorite series together. (once I'm out, I promise!)
I want you to stay positive as well, Mom and Dad. Remember, this is just a chapter in my life, and I'm determined to make the most of it. I can't thank you enough for being there.
With all my love,
Marco
P.S. Please give a big hug to my lovely dog Maya for me. I miss our friend so much, and thinking about hers wagging tail and hers playful antics brings a smile to my face.
